Damn Yankee balloons has been in business for over 35 years. Flying all over greater New England and in Canada. Pilot Derald Young hosted an international transatlantic flight from Bangor, Maine He is also set a record crossing the Northumberland strait to land Sea cow Head lighthouse on Prince Edward Island in a hot air balloon. Not only is he a wonderful pilot, but he also is a great tour guide with lots of trivia to share about his beloved home state of Maine. Damn Yankee balloons fly in MA / Connecticut and Maine, every week between May and November. Our Chase team will be there to set up the balloon while you take pictures of the Giant inflating And they will follow us along the ground and be there when you land to share a champagne toast
