We host monthly open days outside, where we put at least 6 of our 10 craft beers on tap. Gin and wine are available. We have live music, and its bring and braai. Entrance is free.

Our Story
Agar's Brewery
Agar's Brewery is a small family owned and run craft beer brewery based in Kya Sand, Randburg and has been operating for 7 years. Our Brewmaster Michael Agar has been brewing beer for nearly 30 years, having initially learnt the trade in the USA in the early 90s. Michael is passionate about brewing and beer, and users only the best ingredients from around the world to craft his delicious range of beers, currently numbering 10. Donovan Agar, joined the brewery team in 2015, and has helped drive the sales and grow the footprint mostly in and around Gauteng, but more recently throughout South Africa. Agar's Brewery is currently the highest rated micro-brewery in South Africa on Untappd, the world's largest beer rating site. Our Tomahawk IPA, Warrior IIPA, Black Mamba Stout, Red Ale, and American Pale Ale are all the leading beers in their respective style categories.
