Golden Stream plantation/ Belize spice farm and Botanical gardens was started in 1990 by Thomas Mathew MD and his wife Tessy Mathew and grown in to an agro tourism spot. They are originally from Kerala India. Kerala is also known as Malabar coast known for the spices. We earned the reputation as a must visit gem in Southern Belize attracting guests from Cruise ships , Resorts and explorers of Belize. Spice plants, Aquatic plants and Essential oil producing plants have been collected and grown in our little paradise. we have made it beautiful by adding flowering arches , beautiful trees and exotic fruit trees. In 32 years we have have grown in to a well recognised tourism business hosting school children, plant lovers, culinary enthusiasts, Bird watchers and casual visitors.
