Our Story
Akumal Natura Rescue
Descripción tour The meeting point is Akumal Natura Glamping (google map we will take our vehicle with maximum capacity for six passengers and we will go on a journey of 7 km, approximately 20 minutes, to the facilities of the environmental management unit Akumal Natura Rescue. At arrival we will explain our objectives and mission and we will proceed to show the animals in their facilities, then and as long as the conditions are favorable we will interact with some of them. We will also visit an area with harmless and stingless bees and taste their rich honey and you will learn to take responsibility for the importance of these amazing little bees. If you like you can buy some from this powerful but rare honey. After a visiting journey of approximately two hours we will go to a magnificent cenote illuminated and underground to swim in its crystal clear waters. In the tour we will offer water or medicinal and tasty tea. The tour costs 40 us $ per person. We are a non profit rescue center.
