Our Story

Tenikwa Nature Lodge and Family Suites

Tenikwa is a heart-warming place with passionate owners and staff who care for animals. Not only the permanent non-releasable animals that call Tenikwa "home" but also wild animals from the area needing rehabilitation are brought to Tenikwa to be cared for and released back to the wild when ready. Although the impacts of CoVid have been significant, Tenikwa continues to find ways to carry on the work we do, giving guests the opportunity to experience Nature and learn about the indigenous wild cats of South Africa
