“Chez Janet” is a new concept of Parisian Café/ Tea house in iconic pastel hues. The Boutique is a luxury Delicatessen, part-Gifts & part-French Bakery. A small Paris in the heart of Helsinki, located in downtown Bulevardi 24. We have a distinct menu that includes authentic, hard to find ingredients from France. The French Gourmet strives to serve up an unforgettable culinary treat. Whether you’re stopping by to pick up a fresh-baked croissant, macarons or some delicious pastries from our bakery counter, or enjoying a delicious French meal accompanied by a coffee or tea, you’ll be greeted warmly and treated to a piece of France. “Chez Janet” combines the elegance of an old world Parisian café with the casual & happy ambiance. Its sunlit space by the colours is perfect for an elegant morning espresso with a croissant or a leisurely lunch of shared dishes or a grand afternoon tea experience in a porcelain three-tiered tray full of finger sandwiches, savouries and “petits fours” pastries. As a gift store, “Chez Janet” offers a wide range of Gifts: - “Laduree” handmade scented candles, made in France (next to the city of Grasse, in the south of France) and the wax is a mix of mineral and vegetal wax. The fragrance of each Ladurée candle is unique and the composition is basically 90% wax – 10 % natural fragrance. - “Laduree” home fragrances, a delicate blend of florals like a giant garden - “Laduree” Teas, have poetic, evocative names, but what really unites them is their generosity of taste. The exclusive blends continually evolve. Each tea is set off with a note of pure indulgence for those wanting to buy and savour tea at home or offer it as gift. - “Laduree” key chains & key rings - Macarons as a Gifts: Chez Janet reveals also a unique selection of exclusive macarons, iconic delicacies of French gastronomy… tasty crunchy with creamy heart, take away in a pretty little boxes or for a quick bite. Chez Janet reputation in Finland was built on its sweet treats, its savoury offerings are also emblematic: variety of Quiches, Salads, finger sandwiches, Croque Monsieur or vol-au-vents… each of these classic recipes has been rediscovered and reworked by our talented Parisian chefs.
