Our Story
Backstreet Osaka Tours
Being half Japanese it was only natural for me to return to Japan and reconnect with my culture. However, I was often frustrated by how this veil of perfection was so hard to penetrate! Armed with time and persistance...i asked, talked, discussed and questioned those locals who would eventually lead me to places like: a yakuza stronghold, an abandoned houses area, a retro zone, a redlight district and the most local of restaurants. If you want the bright lights of the main strip this tour isn't for you! Our Activities
I'm 39 years old, half Australian, half Japanese & been living in Osaka for over a decade. We are all about discovering the quirky, fascinating and the underbelly of Osaka!
