Our Story
Duncraig Manor & Gardens
Upon entering this completely restored Manor House you are taken back in time to experience what living was like for the wealthy in the 1930s. There are modern amenities but the room configurations and most bath fixtures are original. When you book a room at Duncraig Manor you will have a choice of 8 accommodations, each with a private bath. Duncraig Manor was built in 1928 for the family of the Chairman of the Quaker Oats Company. No expense was spared with the construction of its 22 rooms, including 12 bedrooms, plus 11 baths. It has a total of 12,860 square feet of living space. This magnificent manor had fallen into disrepair and in 2018-19 the Naysmiths completely restored it and its surrounding landscapes. Today it is one of the Historic Jewels of the Southern Pines / Pinehurst area, serving the public as a B&B and Special Events Venue.
