Our Story

Surf'Scool Figueira da Foz

This school was founded by us: 3 brothers who since very young age had the opportunity to surf with our father, Tomás, a surfer from the 70s-80s, known for his technique with big and tubular waves. Developing a passion for surf since very early, we thought of extending our father’s legacy, providing our students unique moments. In 2012, the passion for teaching this sport led us to attend further studies in surfing, at the Faculty of Human Motricity, with the aim of acquiring more knowledge. After finishing our further studies in 2013, we began this project. In the beginning, we could count on the very important support by a brand of wetsuits, JANGA. They produced wetsuits especially for this school and helped us make our dream come true. JANGA continues to be the brand of our preference to keep our trainees warm and protected in the sea.
