Our Story
Hidden Valley Camping
Hidden Valley is a place of solitude, and we keep numbers low. With only 2 bell tents and a handful of tent pitches on our ancient 9 acre orchard, you are guaranteed plenty of space. We boast an enormous dark night sky, and the dawn chorus is the most amazing spectacle - something that must be heard to be believed. We aim to provide a low impact, sustainable and eco-friendly camp site; it’s a field on a farm, with lots of peace & quiet for people who are looking for a real back to nature camping experience. Facilities are basic, but comfortable and clean. At the moment we have a couple of composting toilets, a gas shower and a covered washing up area. There is no electricity on the campsite and the lighting in the facilities block is solar powered. We are a car free site, which is perfect for families. It’s just a short walk from the car park, and you can borrow one of wheel barrows to ferry your gear. If we're around you may be able to hitch a lift on the quad bike and trailer but this is not always guaranteed.
