Our Story

Altitude221

Gavan and Sally Spring have six children between ages 12 and 26 years. In their spare time they have developed unique properties including a 248 year old ski chalet in the French Alpine village of Morzine, a 5 bedroom Villa in Dubai and a three level town house in Horsham, United Kingdom. Professionally, Captain Spring was an Examiner of Airmen on the B777 for Emirates Airline and formerly with Ansett Australia where he also held the position of Chairman of Trustees of the Ansett Accumulation (Pension) Fund Plan. He holds a Masters degree from Sydney University and attended the Oxford University Transport Management Course in 1998. Sally was formerly a Senior Lecturer at Emirates Aviation University and has worked in Training and Development in the Airline, Banking and Insurance Industries. Sally has a Masters degree (MBA) from the University of Liverpool in the UK. Gavan and Sally’s current project is Altitude 221 – A High Country luxury lodge and cool climate vineyard at the foothills of Mount Buller.
