Our Story
HaliPuu
If you love nature as much as we do, you have come to the right place. We are HaliPuu family: Riitta the TreeHugger and Steffan the Campfire Barista, from the little town of Levi in Finnish Lapland. We wanted to save our family forest from felling, and decided to turn it into a safe place for people from around the planet. Our forest is our playground, school, sanctuary and kitchen, all rolled in one. We take you along on an experience that helps you forget about the world outside and immerse yourself in the peaceful Arctic nature with all your senses. Join us cocooning amongst the trees in cozy hammocks, experiencing the sights, sounds and scents of the forest, learning about the local way of life and sampling our marvelous fireside coffees and home made treats. Oh and don't forget to take part in the TreeHugging World Championships organized by us every August! Welcome, our forest is your forest.
We are a small family company, Steffan the Campfire Barista / the Chief Coffee Making Officer) and Riitta the Chief TreeHugger. We want to share our love for forest with you, and take you along to experience the exceptional Arctic nature with its cosy, snowy winters and bright summers.
