Our Story
Riad Selouane
Riad Selouane is a charming guesthouse with 6 rooms in the heart of the world-famous medina of Marrakech. The excellent location near the old royal palace Dar el Bacha offers plenty of restful tranquillity, yet it is only a few meters away from the hustle and bustle of the souks. For over a thousand years, the souks have represented the heartbeat of the city. The dyers, the shoemakers, the iron smiths and the many other traders with thousands of oriental goods are only a few steps away from the riad. Riad Selouane welcomes its guests like a dream from a thousand and one nights. The inner courtyard with its many plants and the pool is an oasis of calm, not only on hot days. The sweeping view from the rooftop terrace over the medina to Ben Youssef Mosque is rounded off on a clear day by the snow-covered panorama of the Great Atlas Mountains.
