The Chef Michael Váňa is one of the few Czech chefs who have succeeded abroad. For several years he mastered his cooking skills particularly in Sweden, where he prepared meals for the King of Sweden and the King of Norway, among others. In his career at U Modré kachničky he has cooked for a long list of world famous guests, including Václav Havel, Sean Connery, Tom Cruise, Gérard Depardieu or Pink Floyd. However, our chef himself does not pay much attention to neither name nor fame - you as a guest are entitled to impeccable service at all times, regardless of who you are or where you come from.
