Our Story
The Smiling Seahorse
The Smiling Seahorse was created by Franck and Camille Fogarolo in 2012. Through years of experience, they designed and built their dream liveaboard and MV Smiling Seahorse was born at the end f 2018. Both adventurers at heart, they love being onboard as much as possible and always try new itineraries to get away from the crowds in prestine locations! Franck being a great underwater photographer, he is now offering photo courses and coaching/ private guiding to those willing to imporve their shots. Blackwater diving became part of our offering more recently as the new adventure!
Our Activities
Both french, Franck and Camille met with a passion in common: diving. They joined forces to create The Smiling Seahorse as the dream diving boat they were looking for around the world. We have 4 instructors on board (all speak English and french as a minimum, some also speak spanich) in order to have no more than 4 divers per guide. Franck is an MSDT PADI Instructor and is always glad to share his experience. He will be glad to guide you or teach you new diving techniques and specialties. Camille traveled the world for 7 years before stopping in Ranong, she is a tough critic when it comes to client servicing and takes care of the logistics, special requests and other practicality before and after the cruise. Choui, our cook has been with us from the very first day and the food on board is always rated excellent. In addition to the 4 dive guides, we have a captain, 2 mechanics, 2 chefs and 2 boat boys at your service for a great holiday. Service onboard is rated top-notch even to the more demanding guests.
