What to do while you're here

Château BeauBois, the origin of this name can be traced back to the XIII Century. In those days, the Cistercian monks of the Franquevaux Abbey had discovered a fabulous terroir* in the French countryside, which they cleared the forest for implanting vines and olive trees. Today Fanny and François Boyer, sister and brother, are the 4th generation to look after the destiny of the vineyard. They are considered by many discerning eyes to be "the rising generation of the Costières de Nîmes Appellation". The 60 hectares vineyard has been cultivated by François in organic farming since 2009 and in Biodynamic since 2020. Fanny makes the wines that each year bring their share of feminity and requirement. The inimitable style of BeauBois wine is based on its superb terroir of Villafranchian pebbles and its fabulous location. Overlooking the pond of Petite Camargue. The vineyard benefits from their freshness during the nights until the early hours of the morning, often giving saline and iodine notes. The southern exposure offers the Mediterranean heat which has a remarkable influence on their wines. * Terroir is the set of all environmental factors that affect a crop's epigenetic qualities, when the crop is grown in a specific habitat. Collectively, these environmental characteristics are said to have a character; terroir also refers to this character.
