Getting here
Hwy SR18 from the San Bernardino area. Begin at the Waterman exit from the 210 freeway (the approximate travel time from this point in good weather is one hour). Go north towards Lake Arrowhead, then continue on by following the signs to Big Bear Lake. When you get to the Dam, go straight ahead for 2.3 miles to Golden Bear Cottages. The office is on the right.

The office and giftshop is open from 9am to 5pm daily and Friday nights until 9pm. Late check-ins and early checkouts are always available.

What to do while you're here
World famous Golden Bear Cottages Resort, a historic family owned and operated Christian family lodging property with private cabin rentals. Outdoor recreation includes a large gas fire pit, basketball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, ping pong, shuffleboard, large heated pool and a year-round outdoor spa. The pool is open May through October as weather permits. Outdoor recreation is open year-round. Office, visitor information center and gift shop open daily.
