Getting here

From Kasese town, drive 20.2 km on Mbarara road. you will find a sign on your right opposite Queen Elizabeth national park, before reaching Kikorongo junction on Fort portal Mpondwe road. From Kazinga channel bridge, you will drive 16.2 km towards Kasese road to find a sign on your left after passing Kikorongo junction.

Most of our food is freshly harvested from the local farmers of the community. Hence gives both the fresh and health values to our guests and staff while providing the much needed market to the local community farmers.

We deliver all loundry in Kasese town on request. Kasese town is 15 minutes drive from The Elephant Home

Getting around town

It is a great location to easily drive or catch a public taxi to reach Kasese town in 15 minutes. Kasese is the nearest big town in the district with about 1000000 people.

What to do while you're here

We offer a long list of community activities that you can do without paying park entrance fees, but we also provide support or information on doing the wildlife safari, Kazinga channel boat cruise, lion tracking, chimp tracking, looking for tree climbing lions in Ishasha and other park/ wildlife activities in and around Queen Elizabeth national park.
