El Amargal is a family run proyect. We are a couple, Nicole Dubor as administrator and Jazz Martínez Córdoba as director. We live at the Reserve, Jazz from 1992 and Nicole from 2019. The reason for creating El Amargal is that we love nature. We deeply beleive this is the way someone can have the best quality of life, having a close relationship with nature. You are welcome to El Amargal!!!

What to do while you're here
Humpback whale watching from July to October. Jungle fauna and flora treks. Birding tours. Tour down Arusicito river in tradicional wood canoe + Hot spring. Visit the local afro comunnities.
