What to do while you're here

In the territory of the museum-reserve, you can visit our main museums - the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization (archaeological museum) with the function of a river port, the Museum of Koran (Memorial Sign in honor of adoption of Islam by Volga Bulgaria in 922); small museums - the museum of history of Assumption church, the Healer's house, the complex "Gabdrakhman's well", the museum "Bolgar tea party", the museum of Abdulla Alish, the museum "Nobility of Spassky uyezd", the museum "Town on the river". Also you can walk around a large territory of the museum-reserve and see unique architectural monuments of XIII-XIV centuries, go down to the Historical quay and enjoy lovely views of the Volga river. Outside the reserve, there is a modern complex "White mosque" with flowers and trees, with a pool and a fountain in front of the mosque.
