Roberto Plaza and Reyna Oleas are Ecuadorians, they have been living in Galapagos for the last 25 years. Roberto has a degree in biology and has been a naturalist guide in the Galapagos since 1994. He is the designer and owner of Montemar along with his wife, Reyna. Roberto leads the design of the naturalist experiences at Montemar. Reyna has a degree in Ecology and an MBA. Her commitment to nature has led her to contribute to conservation in different fields, such as education, policy-making, and now in the hospitality field. Reyna runs the day-to-day operation of Montemar.
