A new concept of accommodation in Andorra, at the foot of the Grandvalira slopes, in El Tarter. Mountain Hostel Tarter is designed for travellers for travellers and to offer what we usually take into account when we travel: a comfortable and practical place to stay, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. All this with the best quality / price you'll find, and in a renovated rustic and sustainable home. So forget about accommodation and sleep! That's what we're here for! It's up to you to make the most of your days in Andorra, practising your favourite sport or hobby, by the way, what is it? Skiing, snowboarding, telemark, alpine skiing, freestyle, freeride, mountain biking, downhill biking, road biking, trekking, Via Ferradas, etc. OUR FACILITIES: - Large outdoor terrace with heated swimming pool-jacuzzi, solarium and sauna, with panoramic mountain views and outdoor barbecue for free use. The use of the pool-jacuzzi and sauna is included in the price. Opening hours are from 17.00 to 20.30 daily, subject to weather conditions. - Modern bathroom with toilets, showers and washbasin. They are shared and clean, but with individual cabins, of course! We also offer hot water 24 hours a day. Towels for rent for 2 EUR. - Dining room with a fully equipped communal kitchen with all utensils and appliances for cooking (fridge, microwave, oven, vitro, toaster...etc.) and eating. It is all designed so that you can simply bring your own food and everyone can prepare their own meals. In the kitchen, you have free coffee and tea throughout your stay. There are also vending machines for drinks and snacks, 24 hours a day. - A small supermarket where you can buy the ingredients for your favourite dishes, and other essentials. If you don't want to cook, we offer quality ready-made meals. - A very cosy lounge with fireplace, sofas, puffs, TV, reading, board games and free Wi-Fi, where you can relax or surf the internet by the fireplace. - Free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel, also in the rooms. - For skiers and snowboarders there is a boot dryer and ski storage. - Winter activities: skiing, snowboarding, telemark, freestyle, freeride, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, heliskiing, paragliding. - Summer activities: downhill mountain biking, mountain biking, road biking, hiking (peaks and lakes), trail running, via ferrata, and all the mountain sports you can imagine! - Special services for CYCLISTS: bike storage room with key and individual locks, workshop space with tools, and washing area. - Trips, excursions and mountain activities can also be booked at our reception, so don't be afraid to ask. - We will help you organize your days in Andorra, and give you good recommendations on any subject, so that you can enjoy your stay with us. - Late check-out: Check-out is until 11h. After leaving the room at 11h, you can use all our services and areas on the ground floor (kitchen, bathrooms and showers, wi-fi, dining room, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.) for only 10€ per person until 20h. ACCOMMODATION: We have 4 types of bedrooms available: 4 beds, 5 beds, 6 beds and 3 double rooms. We can accommodate up to 33 people: - Room for 4 people, with two bunk beds. - Room for 5 people, with two bunk beds and a single bed. - Room for 6 people, with three bunk beds. - Private double room: two single beds together / double bed. In all rooms, each bed has its own reading light and power socket. All rooms have heating and free Wi-Fi. From all our windows you can see the mountains and the sky. Sheets, bed linen and duvet are provided and all rooms have security lockers. You will need a padlock. If you don't have a padlock we can sell you one for 2,50 EUR. Breakfast is not included. We do not serve meals.
