Eco Boat Rentals

Eco Boat Rentals is locally owned and operated by Russ and Kate. The Eco Boat Rentals story began in December 2019. We were living near San Diego Bay and loved spending time on the water, but became conscious of our environmental footprint. That’s when Russ discovered the Pedal Boats, and we fell in love with them. As a result, we decided to purchase a couple of pedal boats to open an eco-friendly rental place in the Point Loma area. In a matter of months, we purchased our equipment, rented a dock, found our team members, built a website, built a following on social media, and started renting. After one month of operating in March 2020, San Diego county went under lockdown and we were forced to close our newly opened business for two months. We reopened Eco Boat Rentals in May 2020 and were overjoyed to provide San Diegans a safe social distancing outdoor activity when they needed it most. Now Eco Boat Rentals is #2 of 248 Boat Tours & Water Sports in San Diego on Tripadvisor! Our customers’ experience and safety are our top priority and we look forward to serving the San Diego community for many years to come.
