Sail Tahoe Blue Sailing Charters

Being able to spend every day out on the water, doing what we love, and sharing our passion for sailing with others is a dream come true for us. Our captains and crew are experienced and stoked to bring you the most unique boating experience on Lake Tahoe. Sail Tahoe Blue is founded and run by Sean and Isabella, a couple from Santa Cruz, CA. Sean and Isabella grew up sailing in the San Francisco Bay, along the Northern coast of California, and abroad. They share a mutual love for sailing, are both US Coast Guard certified captains, and dreamed of one day starting their own business. They purchased their main charter boat, "Blue", in 2018 and spent two years rebuilding it to be the beautiful and capable boat it is today. Blue is a 40’ Santa Cruz sailboat with a rich history of performance sailing. Blue can accommodate up to 18 guests on board, with ample seating and standing room to enjoy the view with a glass in hand. Blue is beautifully equipped with a galley, dining settee, restroom, surround stereo, and 50” tall railings around the entire vessel. Sail Tahoe Blue is committed to providing a fun and safe sailing adventure for anyone seeking to enjoy the beautiful sights of Lake Tahoe. Our primary goal is to build a sustainable business that operates with little to no impact on the natural environment and promotes responsible travel.
