We dont provide food or drink. It's not really suitable on these trips. On weekends, we strongly recommend the Oranjezicht City Farm Market. Its just outside the launch site.
Ocean Wonder is an owner run service that offers boat based Ocean Wildlife encounters. These intimate trips don't follow any set route. Instead, I'm guided by my understanding and ongoing observation of this environment, the creatures in it, and the ever changing water and weather conditions. I also rely on ongoing information from lots of like minded ocean lovers, the fishing community and the scientific community. Ultimately, I want to protect this environment by exposing people to the rich tapestry of life that is right on our doorstep..

What to do while you're here
The Cape Peninsula is a famously biodiverse environment both above and below the water. The waters around the Cape Peninsula are fed by cold nutrient rich upwelling currents from deep in the Atlantic and those nutrients form the basis of a super rich marine environment attracting a wealth of life from smallies like plankton and krill to seals and sunfish and megabeings like dolphins and whales ... all in large numbers. Besides the amazing animals that we encounter, it’s a really fun boat ride in an incredibly beautiful environment. The views of Table Mountain and Robben Island are amazing too. These trips are all about finding and, where possible, interacting with some of the amazing creatures that frequent the rich waters around Cape Town. There’s no set route. We’ll go where we can to find our oceanic friends. Normally it’s in the Table Bay area. I’m guided by local knowledge of the weather, the ocean and the patterns and movements of creatures in it.
