Sofia Wine Walk

As a child, I had one professional dream - to be a tour guide. I somehow ended up acquiring a WSET Wine and Spirits Diploma instead. So after I discovered the wine – my passion for understanding the nuances of a cross-cultural world of history, tradition, creativity, and versatility. Everyone is free to find their own meaning and open the door to a new world. I consider myself a “forever student,” eager to both build on my wine knowledge and stay in tune with the latest wine trends through meeting new people and traveling. I am and will always be a person of two worlds. I grew up in a conservative community, spent years as a young professional in a western democracy and now live in Sofia. The result is a combination of European values and a firm belief that an entrepreneurial spirit can lead to success, mixed with a touch of Eastern European tendency towards nostalgia and traditionalism. My hope with Sofia Wine Walk is to help travellers have a rich and memorable wine experience in Bulgaria.
