Antico Caffè San Marco

San Marco is not just a coffee bar, a restaurant, and pastry shop. Under the new management the Caffè is back to being the par excellence meeting place during all day.
An excellent wine list, which includes the most important wineries from the region Friuli Venezia Giulia and emerging brands from the neighbouring Balkans makes the Cafè a very well stocked wine-champagne bar where you can drink a good glass of wine or buy a bottle as a souvenir. It is a perfect place for an aperitif, thanks to the wide selection of the cocktail bar, while at night it becomes a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meals discovering new tastes of Middle-European dishes prepared with passion by Alessandro Buffa and Manuele Vogiatzakis, the executive chefs. Another important area of the Caffè San Marco is the vast book shop that attracts famous European contemporary writers. Books, music and culture, there are in fact many con- certs, meetings, presentations and different events held at the Caffè during all week. The management offers the possibility of organising tastes sessions, group dinners, buffets, catering, graduation parties, weddings, baptisms and birthday parties. There is also a zone dedicated to meetings, debates, exhibitions and book launches.
