Collection of records and machines from 1890s to the present. Cylinder Records from Edison and Columbia. E. Berliner Gramophone records from 1896, 1898, 1899. The first recording by an Indian, Miss. Soshi Mukhi, taken in Calcutta on Saturday, 8th November, 1902 by Fred Gaisberg for the Gramophone & typewriter Ltd. Many historical recordings by Mahatma Gandhi, Subash Chandra Bose, Dr. Rabindranath Tagore, Madan Mohan Malaviya, C. Rajagopalachari, Jawaharlal Nehru, etc.. Phonographs of Edison, Columbia, Pathephone. Collection of Hand cranked and electrical gramophones, Magnetic tapes and recorders, Wire records and recorders, Laser Discs and players etc.. Collection of shuttle type Sewing Machines, Various types of Oil and Kerosine lamps, Many types of Weights and Measures, phones, Cameras, palm leaf documents and many other antique articles.
