Our Story
Knysna RIB Adventures
Knysna RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) Adventures was started when we realised we wanted to share this amazing place called "The Heads". In old seafaring days it was considered quite a dangerous piece of water and today still carries the stigma of being one of the most dangerous ports of passage in the world. But if you have the right boat, which in our case is a custom-build one-of-a-kind aluminium hydrofoil, and the best skippers (we have done more than 5000 crossings....each) and really good skills (we do work with the top people in the business, just ask Bear Grylls about us) then it becomes an awesome, fun and amazing experience where you see the world as you have never seen it before. We go places and do things with a boat that no-one else does, and not because we're reckless, but because we love what we do, and we want to show that to everyone in a safe, fun and exhilarating way !!
