Our Story

Riad Miral

My name is Monica, I am Italian and this is our story! In April 2016, I decided to visit Marrakech for the first time. I've always been interested in moving to a Muslim country and when I arrived in Marrakech, I thought, "this is the perfect city for me"! One night, I went to eat at the famous mobile restaurants in Jamaa El Fna Square where I met Hicham. We fell in love at first sight and that night I decided that Marrakech would be my future. I began planning my move when, after meeting several times in Marrakech, Hicham asked me to marry him. Almost two years passed when I finally arrived in Marrakech and in September 2017 we started looking for a Riad to take over. After months of searching spent visiting Riads we didn't like, we found one in a state of renovation. Hicham and I looked at each other and...yes! We'll take it! Thus, Riad Miral was born.
