But let’s talk about the boat that will be your ride and fishing platform for the time of your stay. She’s a new 22’ Yamaha boat ready to take up to 2 anglers to deep pristine waters of the Caribbean Sea. The vessel is outfitted with 60 HP Yamaha engine and is swift and reliable to take you to the most productive fishing grounds. Whether you stay in the waters around the town or you proceed to explore the reefs of Chetumal Bay, you will be in flyrodder’s paradise. You could be targeting anything from Permit and Barracuda to Red Snapper and Bonefish, but one thing’s certain – you will fully enjoy every step of the process. Your captain will get you on the hottest bite quickly and then it’s up to you to wait for the line to tighten. When you’re done with fishing for the day and you’re ready to get some rest, you can head to your lodge. There, you get to enjoy the view of the reefs as the sun goes down, grab a bite in the local restaurant, unwind on the upper terrace, then get a good night sleep so that you could do it all over again tomorrow. Doesn’t sound too shabby, does it? For this angling vacation, you will need to bring your own fly fishing gear, and your captain will provide everything else to keep you busy while on the boat.
