Our Cafe is located in beautiful Old Ellicott City across from the Historic Ellicott Mills. We focus on finely crafted coffees showcasing sustainably sourced and locally roasted Orinoco beans and delivering you seasonal and fresh in-house baked pastries, homemade crepes, artisanal desserts, fresh sandwiches, quiches and soups. Old Mill Cafe is more than a neighborhood coffee shop. Here you'll discover the perfect place to connect with friends and neighbors. Take one step through our doors and you'll truly check out of the stressful realities of the daily grind with your first sip on one of our London Fog teas or a perfectly steamed almond or coconut milk Latte, paired with an expertly made French crepe or hearty sandwich. Enjoy a break on our beautiful enclosed patio during a summers day, or gather around our warm and inviting couch with friends and neighbors as the weather cools, as you listen to the sounds of live acoustic music courtesy of our various local artists. Dogs are welcome on our private patio, we have free WiFi and on-site customer parking, so bring your family and friends and come enjoy life's simple pleasures. Private parties, baby showers, brunches, book-clubs, groups and community meetups are welcome and encouraged within our coffeeshop and we also offer breakfast and lunch catering services to neighboring businesses.

A fun loving, talented and hard working team of mostly women, our crew consists of PhD students, Moms, high school seniors, and everything in between, all with the same passion and love for crating the most perfectly delicious cup of java, and a smile and warm conversation.

Our customers rave about our Breakfast Sandwich with melted cheese and sausage (add tangy pesto and tomato for a real flavor kick), as well as our thin and authentic French crepes. Try the 'Falling for Fall' crepe with cinnamon sugar, caramel and toasted apples. Yum!
