Our Story
The Skillogalee Restaurant is located in the historic stone settlers’ cottage built in 1851 by Cornish miner, John Trestrail. The charming cottage restaurant offers guests a chance to sample Skillogalee wines in the way they were intended to be enjoyed – with food in the heart of the beautiful Clare Valley. The emphasis of the menu is on seasonal dishes reflecting the produce of our region, with suggested pairings of our award-winning wines. Guests can dine inside the cosy cottage, on the verandah, or under the shade of our old olive tree, overlooking our garden and vineyard – a wonderful slice of Australian countryside. Shared tasting platters are also available, along with morning and afternoon tea – with the best scones in the Clare Valley.
