JERNBANECAFEEN, The Railroad Pub, is family run by Xenia Norre Rasmussen, 4.th generation owner. Her granddad bought the Pub in 1970. But it has been open at the current address Reventlowsgade 16 since 1933. The building is from 1888. Many guests bring railroad items to the Pub. Thus it is also called The tiny Railroad Museem. Much to see. And hear. LIVE MUSIC at 7 pm every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. It varies every night from jazz to sing along and enjoy. The staff is very friendly, serviceminded and greats everyone welcome! Many guests visit us more times a day, as each visit is an experience, as the day go by. Thus the Pub is also called The Livingroom of Vesterbro. The Euroman magazine has ranked JERNBANECAFEEN as The 3rd best Pub in Copenhagen. However many guests lets us know that its the very best Pub, in Copenhagen if not the entire country. No wonder Xenia took over this Pub, although she initially has an education as a dentist. You know, it is no good to take for granted that the next generation feel obliged to take over the family business, writes her mom here.
