Travelers of all ages enjoy staying with us. Typical stay is 2-4 nights, which gives time to explore the town of Hot Springs and the surrounding Black Hills and Badlands areas. There is a private lake to enjoy with kayak, canoe, and paddle boat rentals and is great entertainment for kids, oh heck, who are we kidding and the adults too!

There is plenty to do in this area we are minutes away from the town of Hot Springs, which hosts Evans Plunge Mineral Springs, Moccasin Springs Natural Mineral Spa, Fossil Finder Museum, The Mammoth Site, and Pioneer Museum. We are a short jaunt from Angostura Reservoir, Wind Cave National Park and Custer State Park. Forty-Five minutes away is Crazy Horse Memorial, and 1:45 you will find Mount Rushmore Memorial and Badlands National Park.

Hidden Lake Campground and Resort is a newly renovated resort in Hot Springs, South Dakota. We are the only intimate outdoor resort with a private lake in the Southern Black Hills where people can relax, disconnect, enjoy life, and make unforgettable memories with their friends and family in a natural setting. This beautiful piece of land provides solitude and peace just minutes from the town of Hot Springs. The lake draws many different kinds of land loving animals, birds, and of course water loving animals. We do not provide any TV or internet services in the cabins or campgrounds. We are here so you can relax, disconnect and make unforgettable memories in a natural setting. We do offer internet and TV in the store area. Hidden Lake is situated in the Southern Black Hills, which positions us close to many area attractions and outdoor activities including Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, Angostura Recreation Area, Evans Plunge Mineral Springs, The Mammoth Site, Crazy Horse Memorial, Mount Rushmore Memorial, Badlands National Park, and much much more.
