Our Story

Warung Seni

My name is Gede Ngurah Wedana, people call me Ngurah. I was born and raised in Tejakula village. After working in Gaia Oasis for 3 years, I decided to open my own business from scratch, and follow my inner calling to be a painter. In 2004, I opened my art shop. In addition to painting, I have always loved cooking. 2013, I decided to share this passion with our guests from all over the world, opening WARUNG SENI. WARUNG stands for 'small place for eating‘ and SENI means 'art‘, so it can be translated into 'art cafe‘. I really hope that you enjoy our food and your stay with us. While you are waiting for your organic food to be freshly prepared, why not have a stroll through our art shop? All of our art products come from local artists. I would also be delighted and proud to share my knowledge about the Balinese culture with you. Ask me about places to visit in my home town. I can also give you a glimpse of our traditional daily life here in Bali. This could start with an early moring visit to the local market where we can buy fresh organic products together.
