Our Story
Laguna Maya Lodge
Hi My name is Mathew Sacul and i am 21 years old. Birding is my passion that i started when i was 17 years old. I love nature and that is my aim for my guest to experience and enjoy. One of the mien tourist attraction here is the thousand mile view where you get to see the tropical rain forest with an amazing refreshing breeze. Not only nature but our traditional living, such as food, clothing, language (Quechi Maya), Arts, Believes, Dance and Music. I am a person who have all the love for conservation in protected areas. By doing that i want to use the lodge also as a research station for wild animals and birds. Our tour s and activities is a sure guarantee that you will enjoy. Top tour is the Agua Clientele Wildlife Sanctuary. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

My team and I have not photographed pictures as yet, but by describing them will show them there real faces. My team are mix ketchi maya and moan maya. I the manager personally trust my 6 workers, who do maintaince, construction and cooking. They are all loving, care, respectful and most of all treat there self like family with happiness.
