Menangang Place is located in Lawas of Sarawak, Malaysia. It is situated about 57KM from Lawas town, nestled on a hill top 600 meters above sea level. The place is surrounded by lush rainforests and highlands where Lun Bawang, the local natives reside. In Lun Bawang’s language, Menangang means Hornbill - an exquisitely rare and endangered bird species of Sarawak. Menangang Place is specially built with eco-friendliness in mind. Guests are able to enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful natural surroundings and utilize the solar powered hot water and electricity. There are 11 specially designed guest rooms that provide an excellent escape from the hectic life of the concrete jungle into the cool, relaxing and refreshing life style of the rainforests.
