Our Story
Olesia, Chef and owner of Olesia’s Taverne of Richfield, born and raised in Ukraine, where she learn from her grandmother how to make delicious food and brought her passion in 2000 to Cleveland, Ohio. She owned couple smaller restaurants and in 2018 made a decision to open her big dream place and found old historic building in Richfield, called Taverne of Richfield. Times ago, it was the most hopping place to eat for many celebrities, basketball players and those, who would go to Coliseum in Richfield to watch basketball games. Stories about how Prince and Evel Knievel were sitting in a Speakeasy. After Coliseum was taken down, restaurant shuts down. Few owner try to make it famous again. But after Olesia took over, it’s always busy and popular again. Patrons come to visit not only for delicious food and drinks, there is live music, nice patio and beautifully restored ballroom, where there is always weddings, birthdays and different events.

Borscht, Paprikash and lobster bisque is always on a menu. Variety of salads:roasted beet, Greek, strawberry and candied walnuts, for appetizers try devilled eggs, chebureki, charcuterie board or Buffalo cauliflower. Platter, which contains pierogies, stuffed cabbage, kraut and kielbasa, pork tenderloin shnitzel, beef stroganoff, short rib crepes, crab cake stuffed salmon with lobster sauce, Chilean sea bass, salmon, lamb chops, chicken kebab for your main entree. Don’t forget about desserts, we have plenty of options.
