Our Story
Lakes Hotel & Supertours Ltd.
We are a family run Guest House in the Middle of Windermere town centre just 2 mins walk from bus and train stations. We are close to pubs, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and post office. Windermere the lake is 25mins walk away. From the piers here you can take a boat cruise or go across the lake by boat to take you to Beatrix Potter's house Hill Top and Hawkshead where poet William Wordsworth went to school. Lakes Lodge offers free parking for 7 cars, free WiFi and all rooms are en-suite with mini-fridge, hair dryer, towels soap and shampoo, tea and coffee making facilities, central heating and colour TV. We also offer a fully cooked English Breakfast. For your stay you have everything you are likely to need. If we have enough passengers we also conduct sightseeing tours of the Lake District by mini-bus departing at 1000.
