We have 17 stunning Beaches all 4 to 25 minutes from the lodge, along with native bush forest tracks and coastal walks, Cathedral Cove, and Hot Wate Beach. There are daily sailing trips to see Mercury Bay and the wonder of the sea life, with Orca's, Dolphins, Seals, and Penguins, plus Sting Ray and a huge variety of fish. There are Mountain Walks and New Chum Beach one of the top 3 Wilderness Beaches in the World.

Our Story
Bayview Valley Lodge
Bayview Valley Lodge accommodation includes our Premier Suite, The Kupe Suite, is a self contained Suite, luxurious and spacious in design filled with natural light, set in its own private courtyard, offering stunning and panoramic view of the Valley, Forests and the Pacific Ocean. The Historic Wharekaho Valley and Wharekaho Beach is where Captain Cook took his first steps on New Zealand soil. The Tui Suite is our two-roomed suite with a small private Hallway that leads to a Bedroom with King Bed, Separate Living Room with two sofas. Both of these rooms have Valley and the Pacific Ocean Views and is set on the upper level of the house, The Bathroom has a Bath and Separate Walk-in Shower with Vanity and Toilet. All our suites offer Apple TV with free-view channels, Netflix, and free Wi-Fi. As a guest you also have access to our Luxury high-end Spa Hot Pool with two Loungers and a pair of lovers seats and additional seats for a maximum of 6 persons, there is nothing finer than exploring the amazing Coromandel Peninsula and returning for a soak pre or post-dinner to watch the sun set and the stars appear.

My Name is David Hall, and it gives me great pleasure to be your host at Bayview Valley Lodge, I'm 34 years in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism, and visiting our lodge allows you a place that is located in a private haven backing on to Dept of Conservation Land and full Valley and Pacific Ocean Views. Our Two Suites, both offer ocean views and include Breakfast and use of our top of the Range Hot Spa Pool, in the day full valley views and the Pacific Ocean with a Cantilever umbrella to protect you from the sun and at night this is put away for you to have a clearview of the Stars and the Milky Way.
