Fern Tree Tavern
Our tavern is perfect for vistiors who want to feel like guests at a Tassie local, rather than a customer who gets serviced. Many short (and longer) walks start from our tavern. We will give you advice on the best ones for you and welcome you back with a cold beer, hot coffee or a dram of Tassie Whiskey. We are the only licensed and seated venue on kunanyi/Mt Wellington. Make sure you pop in and see us either on your way up or on your way back down the mountain. We are family and fur family friendly.

Our food is country comfort with a modern twist. We have lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. There is a great range of freshly made cakes, muffins and scones for those looking for afternoon tea. Of course we also offer Parmi's, fresh fish and chips and house made burgers
