Our Story
Born and raised in Valleyview. Cheryl and Jamie Gordon are 3rd generation settlers to the area. They cleared their own land in 2016 and were the second distillery to build their own building from the ground up. They were the first to build a distillery on an orchard. Cheryl's grandpa was a "shiner" from way back. Using his giant crabapple trees in his back yard to make the best tasting spirits. This is where the idea for the "crabbie" goat was born. And the goats you ask? Well after Jamie almost lost his life to an aortic aneurysm in 2015 he decided it was time to relax a little and do something he enjoyed. So he went out and bought himself 6 little goats that they penned in front of their house and Jamie would watch them jump and play and carry on throughout the day. These goats have now been moved to the front of the distillery yard so that everyone who visits the distillery can enjoy these little rascals!
