Our Story
Quinta do Val Moreira
Quinta do Val Moreira is the most recent wine project of the Vila Gale group, established in the Douro Valley in 2018. Taking advantage of the old vineyards of the property, we are able to produce distinct wines, each with their own personality and characteristics. Not only the wines are the attractions. The winery itself is an architecture gem. An undergroud building made of slate, "hiding" underneath our Hotel, keeping our wines in the right conditions to be naturally fermented/aged.
