Queen bean logo.jpg Nestled in Historic Downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada is the former Imperial Bank of Canada Building. ​ Built in 1914, this building was known as The Elgin Block. Constructed by the Imperial Order of Foresters at a cost of $4000. ​ The building has had several tenants over the years, and is now the home of Queen Bean Café. ​ It all started in March of 2019, after a successful 30 year career in the financial industry, I suffered from major burnout, not once but twice. After that I realized self care was better than self inflicted mental illness and I resigned. I was completely lost, depressed and had no idea what the rest of my life looked like. I knew I had to reinvent myself somehow. My husband came home and asked me if I wanted to buy a cafe, he had it picked out for me and knew it was exactly what I needed. ​ Since opening in June, 2019 many magical moments have happened here. We believe every moment is a story and there is no better place to create memories than at the corner of Imagine and Believe. ​ Come meet our fabulous team, bring your family and enjoy our patio or the quaint ambience we offer.
