Our Story
Reef Encounters Fishing Charters
After working alongside previous owner Mark Wynbergen as deckhand, Ryan Valente took over the fishing charter business in 2021, continuing a legacy of 23 years. Much the same as Mark, Ryan prides himself on a professionally operated experience. Reef Encounters operate in some of the best South Australian deep sea fishing hot spots and will take you on a fishing tour with destinations that may include Wedge Island, Kangaroo Island, Althorpe Island, Investigator Strait, Neptune Island, Thistle Island and beyond.
