Our Story
Arrowhead on the Nueces
We are three siblings and a couple of in-laws who came to Camp Wood and fell in love with the Nueces River. We wanted to live here, protect the river, and enjoy the basin’s abundance of nature. We bought Arrowhead on the Nueces so that we could share the beautiful river with others and teach people about the critical River ecosystem. We hope you will love the river as much as we do by the time you leave, and we fully expect to see you back next year. You are family now. During your stay, our main groundskeeper (one of the brothers, Matt,) will be on site most of the time for whatever you need. We are happy to be flexible to try and meet the specific needs of your stay and if we don't have what you need, we'll help you find it.
