Our Story

Volunteers Direct

Since 2008 we have been mentoring, and coaching sport to School kids in Hout Bay. Help to nurture latent talent . Spend a day or two with us at a disadvantaged school. In the mornings we will improve infrastructure by painting classrooms and outside areas, or upgrade sporting facilities - build a new 6-a-side football court, level play area. In the afternoon offer homework assistance, simple computer lessons, take P.E. lessons, coach netball and football to the school teams. Our successes include: teaching over 100 kids to swim, having one of our boys reach professional football level, helping young students attain entry to University and college, having a couple of Volleyball players reach International status with South African age-group teams, building a classroom and playground.
