Our Story
Casa Picaflor
We are a young couple from Italy and Denmark, we have been living in the Caribbean for the last 10 years working on charter yachts in different islands and the last 4 year in Las Terrenas where we bought our lovely house and turned into a B&B. We like to meet travellers and we try to make sure they have a pleasant and unique stay. We love plants and animals, we have been growing our garden with many fruit trees, tropical flowers and plants. We foster our beach dog "Popy", our Rabbit "FOMO" together with an abandoned "Grizzly the cat and last but not least "Pica" the nest ditched Love bird. We created a natural swimming pool where endemic dragonfly can hatch, frogs can cool down and birds and bees can stop to drink safely.
