Our Story
Adventure Alternative Nepal
We are a Sherpa family run adventure business in Nepal with many years of experience running trips and adventures for foreigners, from treks to the biggest climbs. Ang Chhongba Sherpa, Pasang Tendi Sherpa and Geljun Sherpa are all brothers in law and they all come from the villages of Bupsa, Khari Khola and Bumburi which are in the solu Khumbu region. Pasang Tendi is the climber and he has made several expeditions to Mount Everest. Ang Chhongba has led many treks and organises the company. Geljun still lives in Bupsa and looks after the charitable arm of the company which is called Moving Mountains Nepal. We have a wider team of employees from guides to cooks and porters, and we provide a personal service to all our visitors.
